 Hello
my name is Sonya Reckling and I am originally from Norfolk, NE and moved to
Omaha in 1994 to finish College. I am the middle child of five and absolutely
love being from a big family, there was never a dull moment or a lack of
playmates. I am not married and don’t have children of my own, so I do daycare
purely for enjoyment and the love of children.
Throughout
my life I have had numerous jobs working with all ages of children. As I was
growing up I would take any babysitting job that I could find and have been CPR
and First Aid certified since I was 10 years old. I am doing what I have wanted
to do my entire life, teaching children and letting them know that they are
special every day!
After
moving to Omaha, I worked as a nanny for three wonderful families as I put
myself through college and later graduated with honors in the Interior Design
field. Wanting to do more for the children and allow the little ones to develop
their own little personalities and find friendships with other children their
age, I decided to buy a home in 2001 and started a daycare a month later. Every
day we all learn new things together and find ways to make learning fun.
